It’s Audition time!

That’s right. The Street-Prov Theatre Collective is opening it’s doors for a new performance team and free workshops!

Not sure what Street-Prov is? We are a group dedicated to bringing improv to the people. Featured on various stages in our first year such as the Del Close Improv Marathon, Phoenix Improv Festival and stages throughout the Southwest.

The S-PTC performs shows every week in Tucson and is hosting largest long-form festival Tucson has yet to see Feb. 23rd and 24th.

Now is the time to come and check it out!

Audition time: 7:00 pm

Audition location: Copper Room, SUMC (student union memorial center), 4th floor

Audition details: Just come, it’ll be fun

ok, so we have yet to change the website. that’s proven to be more of a pain in the ass.
but, on a much better note, we have a show coming up!
This week is the start of us having weekly shows on the U of A Campus. Every week will feature a different perfomance. You’re not just going to be getting one improv show, you will be getting four great improv shows. Every other week we will feature The Street-Prov Theatre Collective + guests, once a month you will get to see some of our improv experiments (Starting with Steve v. Brain and eventually Walden: Behind the Pond). and once a month you will get to see the brand new improv troupe we have yet to start!
Which leads me into, we will be holding auditions at the beggining of the winter summester for said Campus group. All auditioners who make it past the vetting process will be given a 6 week training program on Long-form improv and from there we will help the team develop a form for them to perform and get them up on stage. we are hoping to be able to two individual groups started within the next year.
So Remember, SHOW. THIS THURSDAY. MODERN LANGUAGE 350. 8:30 PM. THE REVOLUTION BEGINS!
*************end transmission*************
